Leaves grow old

I'm beginning to really enjoy fall. Especially now because it seems to be lasting a lot longer then in did back in the day. I love all of the special holidays and birthdays that occur during this season. To be honest I wish that fall would last right up until spring!

My good friend Kimiya and her sisters lent me their Nikon D3000 to use for a while. And I gotta tell ya, there's a lot to it. My sister took these shots. Took us a while to figure out the white balance and ISO settings and whatnot. I'll get the hang of it one of these days. Do you have any SLR tips for newbies?

Lions and Tigers and Bears! Oh my!

My mother, sister and I went to the zoo today. There really wasn't much to it because there was a lot of construction going on. But...it was still a lot of fun. It's been a while since the whole family has gotten together to do something, so it was bitter sweet. Sorry, I got a little picture happy lol
